About the Program

Renaissance Zones are a state program designed to provide an incentive to spur new jobs and investment. Kalamazoo, Comstock Township and Battle Creek cooperated to create one Renaissance Zone.  No additional Renaissance Zones can be created.  The current Renaissance Zone expires in 2024.
