Board of Review Meeting

Regular Meetings


The Board of Review will meet Wednesday, March 16th, 2022 for the purpose of reviewing the 2022 Assessment Roll. They will reconvene at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 16, 2022, and continue for at least five days for the purpose of hearing objections on 2022 property assessments.
 

Meeting Times


Appointments are required and scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

  • Office hours are:  Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Once scheduled, you need to come to City Hall - Room 112. View an online map if you are not sure where to find us. Be sure and bring State Tax Commission Board of Review Petitioner L-4035 (Form 618).

Pre-Conferences


Are not required, but we ask you to discuss your value changes with a staff member before coming to the Board of Review. This allows us to exchange information and explain how your estimate was determined.

Appeal by Letter


Since the City Commission adopted Resolution # 99 in January 1992, both residents and nonresidents may appeal by letter. Appeal letters must be received in the Assessor’s Office by NOON on Monday, March 21, 2022. Letter appeals are to be accompanied by a completed Board of Review Petition L-4035 (Form 618).
