Board of Review Meeting

Regular Meetings

The Battle Creek City Board of Review will hold its s December meeting on Friday, December 16, 2022 at 10:00 a.m., in Room 302A, City Hall. 

Pursuant to MCL 211.53b, the Board of Review will meet in its July session to consider any or all of the following:

  • Qualified Errors (as defined in MCL 211.53b(10)) to the property assessment and tax rolls for 2021-2022, and clerical errors relating to a determination that a transfer of ownership had taken place for 2019 - 2022;
  • Principal Residence Exemption claims for 2019 - 2022;
  • Qualified Agricultural Property Exemption Claims for 2019 - 2022;
  • Homestead poverty Exemption claims for 2022;
  • Veteran exemption claims for 2022;
  • Any other business that may properly come before the board.

The City of Battle Creek will provife necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audiotapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting, upon seven days notice.
