Southwestern Michigan Urban League's "1619" Event

1619 is an event where we focus specifically on narrative change. The event is designed to promote diversity and narrative change specific to communities of color. This year's event will feature small business owners of color. Each business owner will have the opportunity to promote their business. Their will be entertainment as well.
