Battle Creek Farmers Market

Friday, October 13, 2017

Fresh produce, artisan breads, and Michigan made products are the types of products you'll find at the downtown Battle Creek Farmer's Market, which takes place in Festival Market Square. Come downtown Wednesday's and Saturday's during the summer to shop and get your produce for the week.

The all new Festival Market Square opened in 2015 and is home to the Battle Creek Farmers Market Association on Wednesday and Saturday, 9 am to 1 pm, from May through October.

Our vendors offer the best of Michigan grown fruits, vegetables, meat, eggs, honey, maple syrup, flowers and more! They also offer a wide range of baked goods from bread, cookies, sweet breads, donuts, pies, soft pretzels, and hand pies to freshly prepared on site lunch items. We have vendors with cheese, coffee beans, granola, mustard, quiche, butter, and even gluten-free and sugar-free versions of your favorites. Our ready to eat food vendors bring and extensive list of offerings for you to enjoy, including pasties, tacos, burritos, tortas, tortilla chips and salsa, hot dogs, cookies, and Asian inspired items.

Parking is available for customers (including those needing Handicapped spaces) in the Hamblin Avenue Parking Ramp. One hour is free while visiting the farmers market. Additional parking is available in Riverwalk, across Jackson Street from the farmers market. Please do not park along Jackson Street as those areas are designated parking spots for Food Trucks and tickets are issued for violators. Additional free parking is available at the parking lot in front of the Rink, on McCamly, just across from the Transportation Center. Please do not park in the Post Office spaces.
