9/28/2023 UPDATE:

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — City contractor crews will redirect traffic at the intersection of Skyline Drive and Hill Brady Road, as the next phase of roundabout construction begins, starting this week.

The traffic redirection at the intersection of Skyline Drive and Hill Brady Road will result in the following impacts:

  • Logistics Drive traffic will NOT be able to turn onto Skyline Drive; instead, traffic will be redirected onto Hill Brady Road.

A Battle Creek city street map showing the traffic redirection as a dashed, red line.

This traffic redirection will be in place for the next phase of construction, or around four weeks, through the end of October. Work hours will generally be from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. during this construction phase.

There continues to be no expected impacts to any Battle Creek Transit routes during the roundabout construction work, including during this traffic redirection.

As a reminder, during the roundabout construction at the intersection of Skyline Drive and Hill Brady Road, neighbors are asked to reduce their speed and to stay vigilant when traveling in this area, as both construction crews and equipment will be present. Appropriate signage will be posted for any changes throughout the roundabout construction.

Crews expect the construction of the roundabout to be completed by the end of November 2023.

We appreciate everyone’s patience during all work on our city’s infrastructure.
