Sanitary sewer televising continues
BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Routine inspection and cleaning of the city’s sanitary sewer system will take place beginning Monday, July 22, and continue through Friday, Aug. 2, on sections of Dickman Road W.
City contractor Taplin Group, LLC, will perform the work as part of the city’s routine televising and cleaning plan. “Televising” is inspecting the sanitary sewer lines using cameras. Cleaning takes place as needed.
The work will take place on Dickman Rd. W. between 20th St. N. and Capital Ave. S.W.
Work hours will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The work is scheduled to be complete by Friday, August 2 at 7 p.m., weather permitting.
All work will take place in public rights of way, and in sanitary sewer easements. Disruption to neighbors will be minimal, and streets will remain open to traffic, although, there may be some temporary lane closures.
Please use caution driving through these areas. We appreciate everyone’s patience during these work times.
