Electric work continues this morning 

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — A Consumers Energy subcontractor – Harlan Electric Co. – will continue electric system improvement work today resulting in a four-way stop.

The intersection of Washington Avenue N. and Goodale Avenue will operate as temporary four-way stop mid-morning today while Harlan Electric moves the power source for the streetlight to a new pole.  This work should take approximately 1.5 hours.

For the remainder of the week, Harlan Electric will continue work on Washington Avenue N. between, Goodale Avenue and Roseneath Avenue.  This work should be complete by the end of the week.  There may be lane closures and shifts during this work.

Please expect delays when utilizing these roads and be alert for workers in these areas.
