Other information: The Battle Creek Fire Department was dispatched to a reported tree down on two golfers at the Riverside Golf Course.  Truck 6 and Squad 6 arrived to find a large tree down on top of an occupied golf cart.  The driver was trapped under the tree.  The passenger was able to get out.  Rescue 3 and Car 3 were requested to respond also.  High pressure air lifting bags, cribbing, hydraulic spreaders and chain saws were used to free the driver in 35 minutes.  LifeCare Ambulance transported the driver, who was suffering from serious injuries.

The golfers were reported to be in motion, in the golf cart, when the tree unexpectedly came crashing down.
