Witnesses said the vehicle is a newer, dark red SUV, possibly with front-end damage, and damage underneath the vehicle. Police do not have any other vehicle information.

Witnesses last saw the vehicle driving south on North Avenue.

Police continue to investigate. Anyone with information on this incident can call Battle Creek Police at the non-emergency number, 269-781-0911 or anonymously through Silent Observer, 269-964-3888.
