2022 Crack Fill Program

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – A contractor for the city will begin crack filling this week in several locations.

Crack filling is one of our street programs that prevents the cracks from widening and spreading, keeping water out and maintaining recently-treated roads for another two to three years. Compressed air is used to prep the area, hot rubber to fill the cracks, and water to cool the rubber quickly.
