[ARCHIVED] Police seek community help in early Sunday morning shooting

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Battle Creek Police are looking for information after a shooting early Sunday morning, June 11, that happened in the North Central part of the city.

Police responded to the report of a shooting victim around 1:45 a.m. Sunday morning in the area of Greenwood Avenue and North Kendall Street. When they arrived, officers found that two victims had been shot in the area during an outdoor gathering that involved a large crowd.

LifeCare took one of the victims to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo. The second victim went on their own to Bronson Hospital in Battle Creek. Both victims are believed to have non-life-threatening injuries.
