The Battle Creek Police Department wants to thank the community for making this year’s Halloween trunk or treat a great success!
Thank you to everyone who generously contributed candy and donations – it was our biggest year yet, as we handed out more than 50,000 pieces of candy to area children.
Thank you also to the following donors for your generosity:
Battle Creek Honda
Battle Creek Masonic Center
Citizens Police Academy
DENSO
Lakeview Ford
Meijer
Sam’s Club
Summit Pointe
Walmart
Thanks to the Battle Creek Fire Department and Michigan State Police for joining us to hand out candy, and to the Citizens Police Academy, who donated both time and money to this event.
“We appreciate the community’s support,” said Sgt. Jeff Case. “It was a great event.”
We hope everyone had a great time and we look forward to seeing you back next year!
