[ARCHIVED] City offices closed on Jan. 21 for MLK Day

City of Battle Creek administrative offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 21, in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. day.

Battle Creek Transit bus and Tele-Transit services will operate on regular schedules on Monday. Waste Management, the city’s trash and recycling hauler, also will operate on a regular schedule, with no delays.

A variety of community events are scheduled to celebrate King’s life and legacy, as well as the National Day of Racial Healing on Jan. 22. For more on those events, visit healourcommunities.org/day-of-racial-healing/.
