[ARCHIVED] Wednesday trash customers can drop off excess after weather cancels service

WM trash dumpster

Due to the severe winter weather this week, Waste Management closed on Wednesday and Thursday. In an effort to serve as many customers as possible yet this week, Wednesday service was skipped completely.

To meet the need of those Wednesday customers who have reported overflowing trash containers, Waste Management has set up two large dumpsters for trash just from Wednesday customers. These are set up at the WM facility in Springfield -- 4547 Wayne Road. This is also a recycling drop-off facility, so neighbors may take recyclable items, too.

If you are a 🚨Wednesday customer🚨 you can feel free to take your trash here. The dumpsters will be in place through Tuesday, Feb. 5.
Hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday thru Friday, and 7 a.m.-noon on Saturdays -- however, they will stay open until 2 p.m. tomorrow, Feb. 2.

Thank you for your patience and understanding!
