Willard Beach Park
Nothing is more fun on a sunny warm day than to head down to the beach for some serious sun and sand. Willard Beach Park offers a sandy beach, small shelters where up to 50 people can hang out and picnic. Bring the family, pack a lunch and experience the best of summer at Willard Beach.
Park Hours
Willard Beach Park is open on a seasonal basis.
- Summer Hours: April - October from 8am to 8:30 pm.
- Winter hours: Pedestrian traffic only - gates closed to vehicle traffic.
Willard Beach Daily Admissions
- Individual $3
- Vehicle (3 or more) $7
No re-enter to the beach is allowed. Visitors who leave the park should expect to pay an admission fee to re-enter.
SEASONAL PASSES are available at the Parks and Recreation Office.
- Vehicle Pass (windshield sticker) $20

Pre-Purchased Admissions Passes with Pavilion Rental are available at the Parks and Recreation Office.
- 50 Individual Passes: $75
- 20 - Vehicle Passes: $100 (purchase more in quantities of 10 for $50)
Swimming
Swimming is allowed in the buoyed area only, which is generally in place from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Since there are no lifeguards, all users are swimming at their own risk.
Restrooms
Restrooms will be open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
The Pavilion
The Pavilion, located at Willard Beach is a great place to hold a reunion or gathering. Whether you need it for 300 or just 50, we can accommodate you. There are 6 rows of tables and each row (seats about 50) rents for $35. If you would like more information on Pavilion rentals, please call 269-966-3431.
All reservations for pavilions at Willard Beach MUST be made 5 days prior to your event with payment. If you call after the 5 day deadline, it is first come first serve basis and no charge, but again it is not reserved.
Gentle Reminder
We all want to have fun! In Battle Creek we have over 1,050 acres of parkland and facilities such as Willard Beach, Binder Park Golf Course and Bailey Park designed just for fun! But as you make your summer plans, we at the Battle Creek Recreation Department would like to remind you of the City's strict Zero Tolerance law: No alcoholic beverages are allowed at any public facility, including Willard Beach.
