Other information: Car 3, Engine 2, Rescue 3, Rescue 4, Engine 5, Engine 6, and Squad 6 were dispatched to a single-story concrete, unprotected, non-combustible commercial building. Engine 2 was the first unit to arrive on scene to find thick black smoke coming from the east end of the structure. Engine 2 used a K-12 Fire Saw to remove two garage doors to give access to the fire. Once inside, it was determined that the bulk of the fire was a contractor van. Fire crews made a quick, aggressive attack to achieve fire control. Fire units them performed overhaul and checked for extension. The fire was due to an accidental ignition of a fuel tank being removed from the vehicle. No firefighters or civilians were injured.
