Other information: Truck 1, Engine 2, Squad 2, Car 3, Rescue 3, Engine 5, Rescue 6, and Squad 6 responded to a two-story single-family dwelling. Upon arrival crews found light smoke coming from the back of the house. Engine 2 and Squad 6 pulled a hose line and made entry to extinguish a small fire in the kitchen area. Crews then performed salvage and overhaul. No firefighter or civilian was injured. The cause of the fire was due to cooking.
