Other information: The Battle Creek Fire Department arrived to find heavy fire coming out of the windows on the second floor of a duplex-style home. Fire crews made an aggressive interior attack and quickly gained fire control.
During extinguishment crews also conducted life searches for fire victims. No one was found. Salvage and overhaul were also used. No citizens or firefighters were injured. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Battle Creek Fire Marshal's Division.
