BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Bedford Charter Township will resume their ongoing water main project, that will result in temporary lane shifts along a section of River Road, beginning Monday, March 18.
The specific section of River Road impacted by the temporary lane shifts includes:
- River Road West, from Stringham Road to the City of Battle Creek's Wastewater Treatment Plant, located at 2000 River Road W.
While there are no expected road closures during the water main project in this area, neighbors should be aware of temporary lane shifts in place and flaggers on-site to direct traffic, as needed, throughout work on the project.
Crews will resume work on the water main project March 18, with an anticipated completion date of Sept. 23, 2024.
