BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — A 24-year-old Emmett Township man died following a single motorcycle crash during the evening hours of Saturday, Aug. 17.
The Battle Creek Police Department responded to the crash at approximately 9:45 p.m. near W. Michigan Avenue and Limit Street. The driver was thrown from the motorcycle after it left the roadway and went over a curb.
The BCPD was assisted by the Springfield Township Fire Department and LifeCare Ambulance. Despite their efforts to administer life-saving measures, the man succumbed to his injuries.
