BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Food Prize 2024 will launch at Kellogg Arena on Oct. 5, 2024, from 3 to 7 p.m. The event features a pitch competition for food entrepreneurs and an opportunity for attendees to sampl
e dishes from Southwest Michigan’s food makers.
The Food Prize pitch competition will run from 3 to 6 p.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel atrium. Food entrepreneurs will compete for a $40,000 prize pool. Attendees can watch the presentations and vote for their favorite.
Guests can explore regional food vendors at Kellogg Arena, with five sample vouchers included with the ticket purchase. The event marks the start of Battle Creek’s Restaurant Week, which runs from Oct. 5-12, 2024. Restaurant Week will feature special menus and deals from local eateries.
