The Battle Creek Police Community Oriented Policing Services, or COPS, the Special Investigation Unit and Emergency Response Team assisted code compliance in serving an administrative search warrant for the building.
Upon executing the warrant, police found three individuals at the property. One person was arrested for possessing narcotics. Another was arrested for warrants, possessing narcotics, and unlawfully possessing a firearm. The third individual was released at the scene, but charges for narcotics possession are being submitted to the prosecutor’s office.
The resident was granted time to gather their belongings and vacate the property.
