BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – The City of Battle Creek is thrilled to finally announce the winning names from our snowplow naming contest! We planned to reveal these names in late February, but unforeseen circumstances led to a delay, and then the snow melted away and we thought it would be best to wait and unveil the names once they’re applied to the plows this fall.
In a twist of fate, southwest Michigan woke up to snow on the first day of spring. Coincidence? Maybe. Or perhaps Mother Nature is nudging us to get on with it!
Without further ado, here are the 10 chosen names for our snowplows:

- Fast and Flurrious
- Austin Plowers
- Just Scraping By

- Blade Runner
- Snobi-Won Plownobi
- Feeling Salty Today
