[ARCHIVED] Home Run Dog Park set for temporary closures during water repair work Friday & Monday

A photo of Home Run Dog Park listing the details of the temporary closure, as described in the post.

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Whomever let the dogs out might want to break out the treats to get 'em back in - the park might be closed!

City field services crews will be working on some needed water repairs at Home Run Dog Park, resulting in temporary park closures, beginning today, Friday, Sept. 12.

The temporary park closures will be on:

  • Friday, Sept. 12, from 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Monday, Sept. 15, from 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Home Run Dog Park, located at 800 E. Roosevelt Ave., is nestled between Bailey Park and Battle Creek Linear Park in the northern part of the city, and is generally open year-round, from 7 a.m. to sunset.

We appreciate our neighbors’ understanding and patience during all work to improve infrastructure across the City of Battle Creek.
