BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — We'd like to remind our City of Battle Creek neighbors that Republic Services is again offering a way to dispose of fresh Christmas trees through their annual pickup.
Here's what neighbors who use this option to dispose of their fresh Christmas trees should know:
- The pickup runs now through Friday, Jan. 23
- ONLY fresh Christmas trees are accepted
- Remove all lights, ornaments, and stands from your tree
- If your tree exceeds 6 feet in height, it must be cut in half
- Place your tree at the curb on your regular garbage day
