Other information: Car 3 arrived to find a fire in the doorway on the north side of the house. No one was home at the time of arrival. Rescue 3 extended a handline to extinguish the fire on the first floor. Engine 5 searched the 2nd floor for occupants. Engine 2 supplied water from a hydrant and supported firefighting operations. The home was unoccupied/vacant according to the property owner. The fire marshal is investigating.
