Sewer work on 23^rd Street South

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – Starting tomorrow morning there will be a road closure on 23^rd Street South, between Sanwood Drive and Terry Court.

The Sewer Department will be repairing a storm sewer mainline on 23^rd Street South, between Sanwood Drive and Terry Court, beginning at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, June 23.

During this work, this section of road will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Emergency vehicles will have access. 

Once the sewer work is complete, the road will be one lane until Wednesday, June 24, at 3 p.m., while crews repair the street cut.

Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes.
