Other information: All stations responded to a possible structure fire at the Griffin Pub, located downtown at 38 W. Michigan Ave. Car 3, Engine 2, and Rescue 3 were first on the scene to discover an outside electrical box had started a small fire in the mulch at the rear of the structure. E2 performed interior investigations, and R3 proceeded to the roof for inspection. Truck 6 and Squad 6 secured utilities and Rescue 4, Squad 4, and Engine 5 staged for further assistance. The general manager and a cleaning assistant were on site at the time, and shut off the power to the electrical panel. No smoke or fire damage occurred inside the structure. All units cleared the scene, with the exception of Engine 2 and Consumers Energy, for electrical inspection.
