Emmett Street bridge inspection

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — a city consultant will perform an inspection of the Emmett Street bridge next week.

OHM will perform an inspection of the Emmett Street bridge deck, railing, and sidewalk as part of a preliminary engineering project planned for 2021.

The inspection will begin next Tuesday, July 28.  If there are weather delays, the inspection will take place on July 29 or 30.

During this work, lane closures will be in place.  The work is scheduled to be completed by end of day. 

Please plan for intermittent traffic disruptions, which could cause delays. Motorist are advised to seek alternate routes.
