Road closed on Michigan Ave. East
BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — City sewer crews will repair a sanitary manhole tomorrow morning that will cause a road closure on Michigan Avenue East.
During this work, Michigan Avenue East, between Raymond Road and Burdge Street, will be closed to truck traffic. Trucks should use Raymond Road to Cliff Street to Elm Street.
Michigan Avenue East will be closed to local traffic from Cornwell Street to Bell Street. Local traffic will be diverted to Cornwell Street, south to Cliff Street, west to Bell Street, and north to Michigan Avenue East.
Detour signs will in place during this work.
The work is scheduled to take place from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will be completed by end of day on Friday, weather permitting.
Emergency vehicles will have access during this time.
Motorists are advised to follow all detour signs. We appreciate everyone’s patience during this and all work.
