Water main work/ Cañerías Principales – Ann Avenue
BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — city crews will work on a water main on Ann Avenue that requires a temporary water shutoff and road closure beginning Monday.
Crews will be repairing a water main on Ann Avenue, between Wood Street N. and Kendall Street N., beginning Monday, September 14, at 7 a.m.
This work will require temporary water shutoffs until approximately 4:30 p.m. on Monday in the following areas:
Ann Avenue - between Wood Street N. and Kendall Street N.
Wood Street N. - between Greenwood Avenue and Oaklawn Avenue
Areas and times could change due to unforeseen circumstances.
City neighbors in this area should be prepared to be without water and for a potential boil water advisory when service returns. Additional information will be made available to the media, and through the city’s website and social media, should it become necessary.
Also, during this work the intersection of Wood Street N. and Ann Avenue will be closed. Emergency vehicles will NOT have access.
Door hangers were distributed to the homes affected. We appreciate everyone’s patience during this work.
