Other information: Car 3, Engine 2, Rescue 3, Engine 4, Engine 5, Truck 6, and Squad 6 were dispatched to a single-family dwelling structure fire. Engine 4 was the first unit to arrive on scene to find smoke coming from the rear of the structure. Engine 4 and Truck 6 pulled two attack hose lines and made an interior attack and quickly gained fire control. Fire units then performed overhaul and checked for extension. The homeowner said they were cooking on the stove when the fire started. No firefighters or civilians were injured.
