StateofComm2022 (Instagram Post)

Join local government leaders from across Calhoun County for a State of the Community address at 9 a.m. this Friday, Jan. 21.

Leaders will gather virtually, via Zoom, and will stream the event live on the City of Battle Creek YouTube channel, The event is free, and you don’t need to register. We encourage everyone to attend, or watch afterward.

Leaders from Calhoun County, and several of its municipalities, will update the community about our COVID-19 response teamwork, as well as individual successes in 2021. All will give a look at what’s ahead in 2022.

Confirmed speakers right now are Springfield City Manager Vester Davis Jr., Battle Creek City Manager Rebecca Fleury, Calhoun County Administrator/Controller Kelli Scott, and Albion City Manager Haley Snyder. The City of Marshall team also plans to participate.

Please join us to celebrate our successes as local governments and a broader community, continued teamwork during the COVID-19 pandemic, and our plans to keep providing top customer service this year.
