Engine 2 was the first unit to arrive on scene to find smoke coming from the vents of the roof. Engine 2 pulled an attack hose line to make an interior attack and quickly gained fire control in the first-floor makeshift living area. Civilians that were occupying the structure were safely outside upon arrival. Crews then performed ventilation, salvage, and overhaul.
