[ARCHIVED] Electrical upgrades around Festival Market Square to begin Monday

mccamly

Beginning Monday, May 9, Consumers Energy subcontractors will be making a few electrical upgrades around the Festival Market Square area at 25 McCamly St.

Due to this, there will be a sidewalk and road closure in place from State St. to Michigan Ave. The expected work hours are between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Work should be completed by May 23, weather permitting.

Pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the areas should be aware of construction activity and follow posted signs and flagger instructions. Emergency vehicles will not have access.

We appreciate everyone’s patience during this and all work.

See these streets on our Public Works interactive project map, at https://battlecreekmi.maps.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=8bcd8770654d4e1fb8b3141be056d3e1. This is also available through the Your Government tab, under Public Works.
