On Monday, June 6, city crews will repair the road from the sinkhole work that took place at Knapp Drive and Capital Avenue SW.
During this work, Knapp Drive, between Minges Road South and Capital SW, will be closed to through traffic.
There will also be a lane shift of the outside, southbound lane on Capital SW, about 50 feet before the intersection at Knapp Drive. There will be no right turns from Capital onto Knapp Drive, and no right turns from Watkins Road onto Minges South.
The work will begin at 8 a.m. on Monday, June 6, and should be complete by 12 p.m., weather permitting.
Drivers in the area should be aware of construction activity and follow posted signs and flag worker instructions.
