[ARCHIVED] Lane closures on Helmer, Territorial for inlet repairs

Clean inlet grate on the curbside of a city street.

City sewer crews will repair two inlet sink holes this week, and lane closures will be in place while they work: 

  • Tuesday, July 19 – Northbound, right lane of Helmer Road will be closed between Territorial Road and Goguac Street
     
  • Wednesday, July 20 – Westbound lane of Territorial Road, just west of Capital Avenue SW 

Work hours will be 7 a.m.-4 p.m. both days, and paving crews will follow to repair the roads after sewer crews complete the inlet repairs.

Lane closures may extend into Thursday to complete concrete work at the inlets. 

We appreciate everyone’s patience during all work on our city’s infrastructure.
