BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — A city contractor will be milling four additional roadways, as part of ongoing infrastructure work in the city, tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept. 27.

The additional roads that will undergo milling include:

  • The entire length of Kedzie Court
  • Spring Street from Meachem Avenue to Upton Avenue
  • Mint Street from Meachem Avenue to Washington Avenue
  • W. Fountain Street from Meachem Avenue to Caroline Street

Work hours during the milling projects will be from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.

All of the above-mentioned roads will be OPEN to traffic and neighbors will have access to their driveways, however neighbors are asked to NOT park on the road to allow the milling projects to proceed. As always, neighbors and motorists are encouraged to be cautious of work crews and equipment in all work zones.

The milling projects will remove the current surface of the roads to allow for future paving of new road surfaces.

We appreciate everyone’s patience during all work on our city’s infrastructure.
