Happy New Year, neighbors!

The City of Battle Creek Communications team would like to share an update about some changes to our coverage of the city’s public meetings.

As of Jan. 1, 2023, we have transitioned to ONLY livestream City Commission meetings (both regular meetings and some workshops) and the public meetings of advisory boards/committees/commissions that are legally allowed to continue to meet virtually.

As a reminder, information for ALL public meetings can always be found on the city’s website, including where/how they meet:

• Public meetings are included on the calendar here, battlecreekmi.gov/calendar.aspx

We have made this change following the return to mostly in-person meetings for our boards/committees/commissions, as well as to turn our focus to other important communications-related projects on behalf of the city.
