BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — City sewer crews will complete two separate projects this week that will result in temporary lane shifts in the work areas Thursday, Feb. 9, and Friday, Feb. 10.
The first project is slated for Thursday, Feb. 9. City sewer crews will be repairing the inlet to the drive of NAPA Auto Parts – Cereal City Auto Parts, located at 320 W. Michigan Ave. During this project, the following lane shift will be in place.
Thursday, Feb. 9 Lane Shift:
- The west-bound lane of W. Michigan Avenue will be closed and diverted via the center lane, in front of 320 W. Michigan Ave. between the cross streets of Cass Street and Washington Avenue.
This lane shift will be in place from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. No road closures are expected as a result of this project.
The second scheduled project is on Friday, Feb. 10. City sewer crews will be working to raise a manhole in the intersection of E. Emmett Street and Sanderson Street. This work will result in the following lane shift, during the project.
Friday, Feb. 10 Lane Shift:
- The right, east-bound lane of E. Emmett Street will be closed and diverted via the center lane, at the intersection of Emmett and Sanderson Street between the cross streets of Yale Street and Convis Street.
This lane shift will be in place from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. No road closures are expected as a result of this project.
