The intersection of Helmer and Beckley Roads will become a four-way stop the week of Oct. 9.
Starting Monday, Oct. 9, city crews will temporarily remove the traffic signals at the intersection to perform maintenance on them. During this time, they will place temporary stop signs at the intersection, so it will operate as an all-way stop.
We expect the signals to be back at the intersection by the end of the week, Oct. 13. They will be back in their modified construction operations.
The Beckley Road water main installation project continues, and is still on track for completion in mid- to late-November.
Please be alert for this traffic change. We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding while we maintain the city’s infrastructure.
