Other information: Rescue 6 arrived to find a 40x60-foot pole barn fully involved structure fire. Fire crews made a defensive attack. Battle Creek Firefighters set up a water shuttle operating system to extinguish the fire.
No one was hurt on scene. There was a chicken coop connected to the back of the barn and all the chickens perished in the fire. The Battle Creek Fire Marshal's office is currently investigating the fire.
