As we approach the holidays and celebrations of December, the City of Battle Creek announces the following service changes and office closures:
- Tuesday, Dec. 12 – City Hall will be completely closed from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the building’s staff holiday celebration.
- Friday, Dec. 22 – Christmas Eve observed – All city administrative offices are closed. Battle Creek Transit services operate regular hours. Republic Services will make the usual waste pickups for Friday customers. Full Blast Recreation Center is open.
- Sunday, Dec. 24 – Full Blast Recreation Center is closed.
- Monday, Dec. 25 – Christmas Day – All city administrative offices are closed. Battle Creek Transit services are canceled. Republic Services is closed, and all neighbors inside city limits have garbage/recycling pickup delayed one day this week. Full Blast Recreation Center is closed.
- Sunday, Dec. 31 – Full Blast Recreation Center is closed.
- Monday, Jan. 1, 2024 – New Year’s Day – All city administrative offices are closed. Battle Creek Transit services are canceled. Republic Services is closed, and all neighbors inside city limits have garbage/recycling pickup delayed one day this week. Full Blast Recreation Center is closed.
