BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — City crews will work to install a new sewer main along a section of Cedar Avenue in the Urbandale neighborhood, resulting in a temporary road closure, beginning this week.
The new sewer main will be installed along Cedar Avenue, between Michigan Avenue and Spaulding Avenue.
The following section of Cedar Avenue will be impacted by this temporary road closure:
- North Cedar Avenue, from Michigan Avenue to West Spaulding Avenue
While the above-mentioned roadway will be closed to thru traffic, neighbors will still be able to access their homes during work hours. Neighbors are reminded to be aware of work crews and equipment in this area during work hours.
Crews began this sewer main installation work today, Wednesday, May 29, and expect the work to be completed by Friday, June 28. Work hours will generally be from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
