BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — City contractors will complete tree maintenance work along a section of Emmett Street, resulting in a temporary lane closure, tomorrow, Tuesday, Nov. 26.
This tree maintenance work includes trimming back the canopy that hangs over this section of Emmett Street, to assist with sight distance for traffic entering onto Emmett.
The section of Emmett Street impacted by this temporary lane closure includes:
- Eastbound lane of West Emmett Street, between Grant Street and Brook Street
Flagger crews will be present in this area to help direct traffic during work hours, as well. There are no expected complete road closures during the tree maintenance work.
Crews expect the tree maintenance work to begin by 7:30 a.m. and be completed by 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, with the temporary lane closure ending then, as well.
