[ARCHIVED] Concrete work starts Tuesday on Elm Street

Road work sign

Crews will begin removing curbs and drive approaches on Elm Street – from Van Buren Street to M-66 – on Tuesday, Sept. 13.

Work taking place from approximately 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. New concrete pouring is set to begin on Monday, Sept. 19 and be completed by Wednesday, Sept. 21, weather permitting.

This work is in preparation for milling and paving that will take place in this area in the next few weeks. Staff on-site will speak to residents about the project and parking as requested.

The streets will remain open during this work, but please plan for intermittent traffic disruptions, which could cause delays.

Please do not park on these streets during this work; vehicles will be towed.

We appreciate everyone’s patience during this and all summer work.
