[ARCHIVED] Streets set for pulverizing, resurfacing, starting Monday

Road work sign

Pulverizing and paving is scheduled on sections of several streets in the city, starting on Monday, Sept. 26.

The streets will be pulverized starting Monday, which removes the asphalt all the way to the gravel, with work taking place from approximately 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Paving should be complete by Monday, Oct. 24, weather permitting.

The section of Huntington will be completely closed to traffic, as a new water main will be placed. Residents must use the entrance from Stone Jug Road.

All other streets will remain open during this work, but please plan for intermittent traffic disruptions, which could cause delays.

Please do not park on these streets during this work; vehicles will be towed.

We appreciate everyone’s patience during this and all work.

Streets scheduled are:
· Dane Court – entire street
· Elsinore Lane – entire street
· Huntington Boulevard – Gethings Road to Abbington Circle
· North Monroe Street – Van Buren Street to the south (city-owned portion; time permitting)
