The city on Tuesday will unveil five new art pieces that will take up residence in our City Hall Conference Room 302A.
We invite the public to join us and Mayor Dave Walters to meet the local artists, view the art pieces, and enjoy refreshments:
6:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1
City Hall Conference Room 302A (behind the commission chambers)
10 N. Division St., Battle Creek
Thank you to everyone who submitted photographs, paintings, drawings and more. We invited artists to give us their take on the city’s mission and vision statements and provided all artists who entered with gift bags. The chosen pieces will hang on the conference room walls with name plates.
Congratulations and thanks to artists Lillian Davidson, Emily Freybler, Ethan Hoogterp, Sherri Jorgensen, and Ribsy for their creative contributions to City Hall.
Look for images of the chosen pieces on the city’s social media this week – City of Battle Creek, Michigan on Facebook and @battlecreekcity on Instagram and Twitter.
Our mission is to ensure a safe, prosperous and culturally enriched community. We envision Battle Creek as an extraordinary community where people choose to live, work and play.
