[ARCHIVED] Pavement markings to be painted this weekend

Road work ahead sign

Painting of pavement markings is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 5, on a variety of city streets.

A city contractor will paint bike lanes, turn lanes, double yellow center lines, crosswalks, stop bars and the designated on-street parking lane on East Avenue.

Work will begin Saturday at 8 a.m. There will be no parking allowed on East Avenue starting at 1 p.m. Friday, until the lines have been painted on Saturday.
