[ARCHIVED] Downtown streets to close Saturday evening for 5K

Christmas plants downtown

Several downtown streets will be closed Saturday evening as runners and walkers display their ugliest Christmas sweaters and admire the International Festival of Lights during the Tinsel Toes 5K.

The race starts at 5:30 p.m. It starts and finishes at the city’s Full Blast, 35 Hamblin Ave.

Road closures will begin at approximately 5 p.m. and are as follows:

  • Hamblin Avenue – McCamly Street to Division Street
  • Michigan Avenue – Washington Avenue to Division
  • Van Buren Street – Washington to Capital Avenue

Please use caution in this area during the race and enjoy the lights and festivities!
